Delete your RepRumble account

RepRumble has no sign-up, email address or password. If you play online, the app makes an anonymous account for you. Here is what it holds and how to have it deleted, with the app or without it.

1What an online account is

The first time you use an online feature (ranked fights, friends or duels), RepRumble makes an account for you automatically. It is anonymous: no email address, no real name, no password. It holds:

  • Your player name, your fighter and the app’s language.
  • Your rating and league, and how many fights you have played and won.
  • Your ranked rounds: when you did which exercise, your deck and the result. Other players can fight a recorded copy of a round, your ghost, which shows your player name and fighter.
  • Your friends: invite codes, friendships, duels with friends, and the players you blocked or reported.
  • Notifications, if you allow them: your phone’s push token, how far its clock is ahead of UTC (a time-zone offset) so a reminder never arrives at night, and when we last sent you one.
  • Technical details: whether you play on iPhone or Android, when you signed up and were last online, and the proof from the device check that the app is genuine (on iPhone, the App Attest key).

That is all. Nothing else about you is stored on our server: no email address, real name, location, contacts or advertising ID. Camera pictures and fight videos never reach it: your phone counts your reps itself and sends only the count (which exercise, and when). A fight clip you record stays on your phone unless you share it yourself.

2Delete it in the app

Open RepRumble, go to Profile, then Online, tap Delete online data and confirm. Your account, friends, duels, ranked rounds and ghost are removed from our server right away.

What lives on your phone (campaign stars, your deck, card levels, settings) stays there and goes when you uninstall the app. If you play online again later, the app makes a new, empty account.

3Delete it without the app

Uninstalled the app, or can’t open it? Email lukas@brombach-technologies.de with the subject Delete my RepRumble account and tell us your player name and your fighter, as they appear in the app. We ask for the name because accounts are anonymous: it is the only way for us to find yours. If you remember roughly when you last played, add that too. A mail from any address works.

We delete the account within 30 days.

4What is deleted, and what is not

Deleting removes everything listed above from our server: your name, fighter, rating, friends, invites, duels, blocks and reports, your ranked rounds, your push token and your device-check data. A few things can stay for a while:

  • Past fights of other players against your ghost. They keep your fighter’s look, deck and rating, but not your name or ID. Those fights are cleared 180 days after they were played, at the latest.
  • Your email, until your request is settled, unless the law makes us keep it longer.
  • Error reports. If a request to our server failed, a technical error report, without your IP address, is kept for a few days.
  • Purchases. They are not part of the online account. The store you bought from and our purchase service RevenueCat keep them under an anonymous ID, by their own rules.

The privacy policy has the details. Questions: lukas@brombach-technologies.de.
